Towards a circular economy

The research of emmetre design is investing in sustainable design, by placing as a goal the elimination and reduction of negative effects of industrial production on the environment, through careful planning of environmental issues.

The attention of emmetre design is focusing on a recycled and easily recyclable material, HDPE plastic caps, implementing a production without impact on existing natural resources and with a disposal of the product, to end of life cycle, aimed at not damaging the environment itself.

Thanks to its durability and absence of maintenance, PCR-HDPE (post-consumer recycled HDPE) has several practical applications.

The green furniture collection, which includes products such as waste bins, planters, poles and PCR-HDPE bollards, is the result of this research.
